Polzeath to the Rumps

This beautiful walk is approximately 2.5  miles from Polzeath beach car park. Moderate difficulty - the path is narrow and stony in places.

The walk visits an Iron Age promontory fort and some Bronze Age burial mounds.There is  also a memorial plaque dedicated to the famous Great War poem 'For The Fallen' by Laurence Binyon just past Pentire point en route to the Rumps.There are spectacular views out over Padstow Bay and beyond, as well as a puffin island and volcanic pillow lavas.

Start the walk at Polzeath or you can also start at  Pentire Farm car park.
