The countys biggest annual event begins on Thursday 7th June. Theres something for every member of the family at the show, full of exhibits and activities. The show promotes Cornish grown and Cornish produce and offers shopping and all thats best in food and farming. Wadebridge is a 10 minute drive from the hotel and is a popular venue for the show.

Padstow Obby Oss
1st May, Padstow Pagan Festival of Beltain marking the coming of Summer. The procession is the oldest of its kind in the country and can be reached by ferry from Rock Beach.

Nathan Outlaw Masterclass Monday 14th May 2012
Nathan will demonstrate recipes from his book and cook an exclusive six course tasting menu for guests. The evening will be complemented with matching wines to accompany each course, chosen by Damon Little our sommelier, and a signed copy of Nathan Outlaw's British Seafood for each guest.
Nathan Outlaw Launching New Cookery Book.
We have waited patiently for the book to arrive, it will be launched on 24th April 2012. The book can be pre-ordered through Nathans website. This is an exciting time for all of us to get our hands on some of Nathans most famous recipes.
Light Refurbishment 2012.
During the closure this winter we have updated all of our hotel bedroooms. Known for its fresh interior design the hotel has introduced many new fabrics, complimented by origional artwork by Terry Frost, Jessica Cooper and Dave Pearce. Restaurant Nathan Outlaw re-opened for the new season offering an eight course tasting menu, Nathan showcases the finest local and seasonal produce from small artisan producers making this an unmissable experience for 2012.
Winter Closure
St Enodoc Hotel and Nathan Outlaw Restaurants will be closed between Sunday 18th December 2011 and Friday 3rd February 2012 for light refurbishment. Our reservations desk will be closed from Friday 23rd December 2011 until Monday 9th January 2012 for all enquiries.

Padstow Christmas Festival
Start your festive season with a day out during its 4th annual Christmas Festival from Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th December 2011. Estuary view and garden view rooms still available. It’s during December that Padstow is at its most magical. Promising an array of seasonal treats including Christmas lights and decorations, Santa’s grotto, fireworks, seasonal food, festive demonstrations and late night shopping, visitors will be spoilt for choice. A traditional Christmas market will be situated in a large marquee on the quay side of the idyllic seaside town, where stalls will be laden with Cornish goodies and gifts. Visitors can also explore Padstow’s boutique retailers for artisan jewellery, crafts, fashion and home wares. With entertainment and live music to keep the kids entertained, Padstow’s Christmas Festival offers a great way to make the most of a winter’s day. The ferry will run througout the day making access to Padstow very easy from Rock.

Nathan Outlaw and his team have once again been named in the top ten of the Good Food Guide UK, holding on to fifth place, after claiming the position last year in the UK.
Charles Tyrwhitt new Spring Summer 2012 brochure was shot at the hotel earlier this month. We look forward to seeing the finished brochure in the New Year.

July and August
The Summer season has been a huge success so far and we look forward to more sunshine over the next few weeks. The Camel Estuary is at its best with calm waters perfect for water skiing, sailing and a spot of fishing. Our special offers are running throughout August.

In the blistering sun, Rock Rowing Club held their annual fund raiser and regatta at Daymer Bay Beach on Sunday 26th June. The under 16s and the ladies Vets won their races on the day, well done to all.
Rock Oyster Festival
17th 18th and 19th June
Last year the Rock Oyster Festival successfully drew crowds to Rock for entertainment, music, good food and a cookery demonstration from our very own Nathan Outlaw. This year the festival has changed location and will be held at Dinham House in St Minver. Nathan will be taking part in the Celebrity Chef Oyster shucking competition, we will be there to cheer him on.

Nathan and his team have been awarded 2 Michelin Stars, the very first time a restaurant in Cornwall has received the honour.

Nathan has just been awarded Restaurateur's Choice at this years National Restaurant Awards in London. Out of the 100 entrants this year Nathan also came in at number 11, impressive for his first year.
